I received my official reduction in workforce notification letter on Thursday, June 25th. Even though this was not a surprise and I had weeks of being "on the bench" which allowed me to move through a grieving period of sorts I'm still feeling pretty sad right now.
Thank you Sun Microsystems, Inc. for 13 1/2 years of employment, it was a fantastic ride.

Michelle - I had no idea. I totally missed this on Facebook, the downfall of to many posts not enough time. I have friends from Boston who asked about you, her maiden name is Plunkett, so I was doing a little research, saw you had a blog, then ran across this post. I'm sad to. I throughly enjoyed working with you and hope something enjoyable, better and terrific comes along for you. I personally think you are worth it!! :o)
